[…] Let’s all watch a movie. There is a suitable one coming our way, based on Iranian journalist Freidoune Sahebjam’s jewel of a book, The Stoning of Soraya M. The great Iranian ex-patriate actress, Shohreh Aghdashloo, stars in it; reason enough to see it. […]

Nahid’s Antisemitism is amazing. Just like morons in Iranian Government, as soon as her beloved criminals in Iran receive any bad news, she points out to Israel and Zionism. I guess it is Zionists who are stoning women and young girls in Iran.
Nahid: this is your second time by the way.

Arash the overweight, nappy haired, hideoous occupation makes a good point. Stoning in iran has nothing to do with israel and Zionism, rather the fanatic nature of the islamic regime. When concrete blocks fall on the heads of Palestinian children during the destruction of a housing complex, though, is Iran to blame?
Arash, lets figure this one out. Who has murdered more children in the last 5 years, Israel or the Iranian regime. Lets figure this one out too. Since you go to a shitty law school, how are you going to get a job in a struggling economy? Do you think they are going to take a fatty like you who speaks poor English over someone from UCLA or USC?
Sorry, mistake on my part. Arash is an overweight, nappy haired, hideous occupation SOLDIER. Not hideous occupation. Although he does occupy a lot of space.
[…] So, let me tell you a story about one tragic incident that took place in that cursed country in the summer of 1986. Telling this story and listening to it is a way of mourning, and of bearing witness. Iranian expatriate journalist Freidoune Sahebjam resurrected the facts for us in his jewel of a book, The Stoning of Soraya M which is now also a film which stars the great Iranian expatriate actress, Shohreh Aghdashloo. Sahebjam writes that in contemporary Iran, “being born female is both a capital crime and a death sentence.” […]
